Megasploot made Wonderdraft and Dungeondraft, which are two (reasonably priced) map programs that I greatly prefer over CAD (sorry CC3). More like a fractal map generator mixed with the starcraft map editor.

Then you can get FadeIn which sells for a 1 time price of 80.00. In fact, they make it a point to emphasize that because of how shitty every other application is as far as pricing goes. They are also making a big dent in the industry reliance on Final Draft, which until now has been kind of the adobe of screenwriting. FadeIn is available for Windows, Mac, and LInux.
